Riyadh/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India has emerged as the third major player in Start Up echo system and urged global investors and especially from the Gulf region to take benefit of India's Start Up echo system.

"Today India is the third major player in Start Up echo system and in two-tier and three tier cities also. Start Ups are coming up fast. Several Start Ups in India are investing overseas. Therefore, I urge all global players to take benefit of India's Start Up echo system," the PM said delivering keynote address at the third session of the Future Investment Institute forum in Riyadh.

The meet is being hosted by Saudi King.

There is need for 'business friendly' governance measures in today's world, the Prime Minister said.

He said India's relations with Saudi Arabia dates back to thousands of years.

"Ek doosre ke saath hamey apna pan lagta hae (We feel a sense of belonging to each other)," he said adding the traditional close relations have actually strengthened India-Saudi Strategic Partnership.

Prime Minister said a 'roadmap' for achieving 5 Trillion economy is ready.

"We are not only committed to ease of doing business, we are also working for ease of living," he said and invited global players and especially from the Gulf to invest in India including in emerging sectors like health care.

"We have drawn a vision to make a New India by 2022. That strong India will commit itself for global peace," Modi said.
