PM Modi wishes countrymen Happy New Year
New Delhi, Jan 1 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished the nation on new year.
"Greetings on the start of 2017. May this year bring good health, happiness and prosperity in everyone's lives," Modi tweeted.
Modi on Saturday addressed the nation on new year eve.
He announced several schemes which aim at benefitting people of the nation.
This was his first televised address since he announced bannig of Rs 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes on Nov 8.
