New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the latter's birthday.

Mosi praised the Bihar CM as someone rising from the grassroots and enhancing the state's development.

"Greetings to Bihar’s Chief Minister and my friend, Shri @NitishKumar Ji. A popular leader who has risen from the grassroots, he’s been at the forefront of furthering Bihar’s development. His passion towards social empowerment is noteworthy. Praying for his long and healthy life," Modi tweeted.

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar is likely to announce the plan for the upcoming Bihar Election.

The JDU chief had left the Grand Alliance to relink with the BJP in 2017.
