PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to Sheila Dikshit

New Delhi, July 20 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid his last tributes to former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit who passed away earlier in the day at a city hospital.

"PM@narendramodi paid tributes to the former CM of Delhi, Smt. Sheila Dikshit Ji," PMO India tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Modi had tweeted to mourn the death of the Congress leader.

He said Sheila Dikshit was blessed with a 'warm and affable personality'.

"Deeply saddened by the demise of Sheila Dikshit Ji. Blessed with a warm and affable personality, she made a noteworthy contribution to Delhi’s development. Condolences to her family and supporters. Om Shanti," Modi tweeted.

Sheila Dikshit, who served as the Delhi CM for three terms, passed away at the age of 81.
