Police-criminal shootout in Delhi, four arrested

New Delhi, Nov 21 (IBNS): An encounter between a police team and alleged criminals occurred near Delhi's Dwarka metro station on Tuesday, according to media reports.

A joint operation team of Delhi and Punjab police carried out the operation, in which several rounds were fired.

The police team arrested four alleged car jackers and recovered ammunition too, reported NDTV.

Reportedly, the police team reached the spot after getting information that some criminals were hiding in the area; the criminals fired at the police team to avoid being caught.
