Police trying to find out the anonymous caller who blew the lid off Sheena Bora murder

Mumbai, Sep 2 (IBNS) As the mystery tangles in the Sheena Bora murder case still remain unresolved efforts are being made to identify the anonymous caller who tipped off Mumbai police about the crime, reports said.

Police have traced the call  made to Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria, somewhere in western Uttar Pradesh.

The call  blew off the lid over the murder that took place three years ago involving media executive Indrani Mukherjea, her driver Shyam Rai and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna.

The call makes it clear that there is at least one person apart from those three arrested who is in the knowledge of the most bizarre crime that has many twists and turns.

If the caller is identified police may find the key to several unanswered questions.

Indrani, wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, is accused of murdering her daughter Sheena with the help of Khanna and Rai in April 2012.

Media reports said once traced, the the anonymous caller will be made an important  witness to the case.

Police believe that the caller have vital information that may lead investigators to a breakthrough in the case.
