Vadodara, Nov 28 (IBNS): Driven by acute poverty, a Vadodara woman has put herself up for sale on social networking site Facebook.
Chandni Rajgaur has posted her photograph and a message about her poverty along with her mobile number.

In her message, she said her mother is paralysed and her father is bedridden following an accident. She said she is putting herself up for sale to be able to bear the financial needs of her ailing parents.

She has claimed that she is left with no choice but to sell herself due to a severe financial crunch.

"I am very ashamed to take this step, but I have no choice. I hope this extreme step will make the government pay attention to my state. I appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Anandiben Patel to help me," Rajgaur told CNN-IBN channel.

"People of India don't want me to sell myself so they have come out to help me. I have got a good response so far, hopefully things will change," she said.
