Prakash Javadekar administers Swachh Bharat pledge
New Delhi, Oct 2 (IBNS): Minister for Information & Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Thursday administered the pledge of the Swachh Bharat Mission along with the senior officials and staff of the Ministry.
Eminent lyricist and writer Prasoon Joshi, singer Kailash Kher and music director Vishal Khurana also participated in the pledge ceremony.
Javadekar on the occasion released the audio track “Swachh Bharat ka Irada Kar liya hum ne” composed by Prasoon Joshi.
The song specially prepared for the Swachh Bharat Mission was composed in very short span of time.
A section of the track was shown at the India Gate Ceremony graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier on Thursday morning.
A special song composed by Song & Drama division on Swachh Bharat Mission was also performed live during the pledge taking ceremony.
The Minister along with senior officials took part in the cleaning drive in the premises of Shastri Bhawan.
