Preserve, beautify Jamia Masjid of Jammu and Kashmir: DC Shopian

Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Srikant Balasahib Suse Sunday called for the preservation and beautification of the historical Jamia Masjid, Shopian. The DC said this during a visit to the Jamia Masjid.

He also took stock of the pace and progress of the ongoing renovation and beautification works there. Interacting with the locals, the DC stressed on preservation of the architecture of the Masjid and offered full support of the administration in resolving various developmental issues in the area.

He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue and Executive Engineer R&B Shopian and other officers.
