President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Vietnam

New Delhi, Sep 1 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the eve of their National Day (September 2, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang, the Indian President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Vietnam on the occasion of your 71st National Day.

India and Vietnam traditionally share warm and cordial relations, based on mutual respect and goodwill. Our fruitful partnership has grown in recent years and I am confident that it will continue to strengthen in the years to come.

I take this opportunity to convey to Your Excellency my best wishes for your personal well being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Vietnam."
