Prez and PM greet Indian Coast Guard on their 39th anniversary

New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the Indian Coast Guard on their 39th anniversary.

President Mukherjee said, "Greetings & good wishes to all members of the Indian Coast Guard on 39th Anniversary of the Indian Coast Guard."

He also hailed the 'dedicated' men and said, "Over the years, Indian Coast Guard has evolved into a professional maritime force dedicated to the service of the nation."

Lauding their 'relentless service', PM wrote on Twitter: "Greetings to all ranks of Indian Coast Guard on their Raising Day. Their relentless service on our maritime frontiers is exemplary."

Modi added, "From guarding coasts, saving lives at sea & preventing marine pollution, we are proud of our Coast Guard personnel."
