Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes 'friend' Nitish Kumar on birthday
New Delhi,Mar 1 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday wished Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on his birthday.
In his twitter post, Modi called Nitish Kumar his 'friend'.
Modi appreciated Nitish and said his role in transforming Bihar is particularly noteworthy.
Modi tweeted: "Birthday wishes to my friend and Bihar’s dynamic CM Shri @NitishKumar Ji. He has always served our nation with great diligence and his role in transforming Bihar is particularly noteworthy. I pray for Nitish Ji’s long life and good health."
The JD(U) and BJP joined to form the government in Bihar in 2017.
Nitish Kumar ended his Mahagathbandhan alliance after corruption allegations against former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav emerged.
