Prime Minister should not make excuses: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Feb 5 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi should start working than making excuses to the nation.

"Prime Minister should not make excuses. He should work for the nation. I feel he should start working for the people now," Gandhi told reporters.

Modi earlier in the day accused the Gandhi family for disruption in the Parliament and alleged that functioning in the Rajya Sabha was totally halted for one family.

Addressing a BJP party workers meeting held at Moran in Dibrugarh district, Modi said only one family had disrupted the parliament.

“They were taking revenge for defeat in the general election. There are leaders in opposition parties who want the parliament to run even as they oppose me but one family does not allow the Rajya Sabha to function. They have not allowed to pass any development act, ordinance in parliament,” Modi said.

Modi also attacked the Tarun Gogoi-led Assam government for the development issues in the state in past 15 years.
