Punjab: Suspected ISI agent arrested from Pathankot

Pathankot, Feb 2 (IBNS): The Punjab police have arrested a suspected agent of the Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence from Pathankot area.

The arrested person is reportedly an Indian national.

He has been identified as  Irshad Ahmed.

"The police said Irshad Ahmed was working undercover as a manual worker at the Indian Army's 29 Division Headquarter in the Mamoon Cantt in Pathankot, where terrorists struck an air force base last month," NDTV reported.

The air force base at Pathankot was attacked by Pakistani terrorists last month. Seven military personnel were martyred during the 80-hour battle.
