Rahul Gandhi condemns Barcelona terror attack

New Delhi, Aug 18 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday condemned the Barcelona terror attack which claimed at least 13 lives and injured dozens others on Thursday.

"Strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Barcelona. Share the pain of the families who lost their loved ones in this mindless violence," his tweet read.

By condemning the attack he joined a series of other leaders who too slammed the terrorists for the fatal incident.

Meanwhile, the attack was claimed by the Islamic State, who confirmed it through its mouthpiece Amaq news agency.
