Rahul Gandhi slams Modi government over 'economic slowdown'

| @indiablooms | Aug 03, 2019, at 12:50 pm

New Delhi, Aug 3 (IBNS): Raising his voice against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government for the "economic slowdown" in the country.

Citing the news reports claiming economic slowdown experienced by business companies, Rahul tweeted, "The BJP Government can’t build anything. It can only destroy what was built over decades with passion and hard work."

Ironically, the Modi government ahead of the Union Budget this year had promised to achieve 5 trillion dollar economy.

The BJP government in 2019 returned to power by winning 303 seats in the General Elections, crushing the entire Opposition.
