RBI chief meets West Bengal CM on Thursday
Kolkata, Dec 15 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Reserve Bank of India governor Urjit Patel met on Thursday in Kolkata, according to media reports.
The meeting lasted over an hour, media reported.
The WB chief minister has been protesting against the hurried implementation of the demonetisation scheme ever since it was declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Nov 8.
Details of the meeting and its outcome are awaited.
Urjit Patel came to Kolkata to attend a RBI board meeting.
