Ride 4 Accessibility: Motor Bike Rally in Delhi for Accessible India campaign

New Delhi, Jul 22 (IBNS): The Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution announced on Thursday that it will hold a motorcycle rally called 'Ride 4 Accessibility', on Sunday, July 24, in New Delhi.
The rally is part of the sensitisation campaigns run by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).
 
The rally will include about 500 young men and women motorcycle riders and will be flagged off at India Gate by Prakash Javadekar, Minister for Human Resource Development and Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Science. 
 
Thaawarchand Gehlot, Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment will preside over the function. 
 
Before reaching India Gate, the bikers will start from three different locations - South Ex Part -2, Khanna Market and GD Goyanka School.
 
Later, they will pass through various areas of Delhi. 
 
Street Plays and cultural programs will also be organised on this occasion.
