Russian Deputy PM calls on PM Modi

New Delhi, Nov 5 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday received the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin who is visiting India for the 20th round of India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission meeting that is co-chaired by the External Affairs Minister of India.

Prime Minister emphasised that India attached very high importance to the time-tested and the special and privileged Strategic Partnership with Russia.

Prime Minister said that he was looking forward to the visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to India in December 2014 for the Annual Summit.

The visit would provide an opportunity to take forward the bilateral relations to a new level.
