Russian President to arrive on Friday for four-day India visit

New Delhi, Oct 11 (IBNS): President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, is scheduled to arrive in India on Friday on a four day visit, according to media reports.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Russian President will hold bi-lateral talks in Goa prior to the commencement of the BRICS summit.

India will host the eighth BRICS Summit during its Chairmanship, which is scheduled to take place from Oct 15-16 2016 in Goa.

The theme of India’s BRICS Chairmanship is Building Responsive, Inclusive and Collective Solutions.
