Sayeed and other J & K legislators take oath

Jammu, Mar 17(IBNS) Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and all other legislators of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly were sworn at the legislature complex here on Tuesday.
They were administered oath as elected members of the 12th J & K Legislative Assembly by  the Pro-tem Speaker Mohammad Shafi.
 
The Chief Minister was the first to take oath followed by  former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other Members who have been
elected to the  Assembly.
 
The Assembly has 87 elected members and two nominated members to give representation to women.
 
The results for the Jammu and Kashmir elections were announced on December 23, and the 12th state assembly was constituted on January 1
this year.
