SC dismisses plea seeking postponement of UPSC prelims
New Delhi, Aug 23 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Saturday rejected the petition of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) aspirants seeking a stay on the prelims scheduled on Sunday.
This comes in the wake of the recent row over the Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT).
While dismissing the plea, the court said that since nine lakh students are ready to appear for the exam, it cannot be postponed.
According to reports, some aspirants have decided to boycott the exam and stage a walkout from the examination hall.
