Second blast in Manipur, now at university gate

Imphal, Aug 10 (IBNS): A blast took place at the gate Of Manipur University in Imphal on Wednesday only hours after an explosion near a BSF camp in a village left a boy injured.

Reports said the second blast took place in the afternoon, details of which are yet to be received.

Earlier in the morning, a seven-year-old boy was injured in an IED blast near a BSF camp at Moirang Purel village in Manipur’s Imphal East district.

The injured boy was taken to the nearest hospital.

Police and BSF personnel  rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the area.
