Ahmedabad, Jan 2 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wife Jashodaben has filed an appeal under RTI act to know the details of the security cover provided to her after the Mehsana District police had earlier denied answers to all her questions in connection to the matter, media reports said.

The Mehsana District police had denied giving her the information and said that it was connected to local intelligence bureau that is exempted under the RTI Act.

In November last year, Jashodaben had filed an RTI application where she had asked for an explanation on the kind of security the government provided her.

She had filed her  RTI application with Mehsana police in Gujarat.

In her application, she has demanded for a certified copy of the order under which security is provided to her and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's family members.

She had demanded for the  details of the security personnel provided to her.

Jashodaben  is a retired school teacher. She lives at Unjha town in Gujarat's Mehsana district
