Security forces trap two terrorists in Kashmir's Kulgam amid clash

Kulgam: A gun battle erupted between security forces and militants in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday.

Two militants are believed to be trapped in the Samnoo Nehama area as clashes unfolded between the opposing sides.

The Kashmir Zone Police said that the encounter began in the Damhal Hanji Pora area of Kulgam.

In October, security forces eliminated two militants in a clash in Kulgam, who according to police had affiliation with Hizbul Mujahideen.

Around the same time, two Army personnel sustained injuries in a gunfight with militants in Rajouri district.

Following this, a cordon and search operation, aimed at locating militants, was conducted for several days.
