Separatist leader Asiya Andrabi arrested in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 27 (IBNS) : Separatist Kashmiri leader Asiya Andrabi was arrested in Srinagar late on Wednesday night, media reports said.

Police arrested Andrabi from her residence in Srinagar's Soura area.

Andrabi is the founder of Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM), a separatist organisation, and a member of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

She is the wife of  Hizbul Mujahideen leader  Ashiq Hussain Faktoo, who is now  in jail.

Her arrest followed the terror attack on a military garrison in Kupwara district in which three soldiers, including an officer were killed..
