Jaipur, Dec 7 (IBNS): Reacting to Bihar politician Sharad Yadav's comment on her weight, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said the Election Commission must act, media reports said.

Making a reference to the Chief Minister's body weight, Lontantrik Janata Dal (LJD) leader Yadav had said let Vasundhara Raje relax as she is tired.

"Shocked" and "insulted" Raje said the Election Commission must take cognizance to set an example.

She also said about the kind of examples Yadav wants to set for youngsters.

Yadav defended himself saying he made the comment on a lighter note. The 71-year old politician said he also told Raje that she is gaining weight when the two met had met.

Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP, quit Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) over differences of opinion last year.

Voting for Rajasthan assembly elections is underway on Friday. The BJP, under the leadership of Raje, is eyeing on to return to power in the state.
