Sheena, Mikhael are my children: Indrani's ex-boy friend who wants her to be hanged

Kolkata, Sep 1 (IBNS) Siddhartha Das, the man in former media executive Indrani Mukherjea's early life has claimed to have fathered Sheena and Mikhael Bora out of wedlock.

He also says that if Indrani (nee Bora) killed their daughter, "I want her hanged."

His claim to media persons comes amid many a twist and turn and the mystery shrouding the murky saga of Sheena's alleged murder that is followed by skeletons tumbling from the cupboard one after another.

Sheena's mother Indrani, who used to present the young girl as her sister, is one of those arrested in connection with the incident that allegedly took place in April, 2012 but came to light only recently.

Traced in Kolkata, Siddhartha Das has told media that he never married Indrani but had a live-in relationship with her.

"Mumbai Police has not contacted me. If they do,  I will cooperate with them. I met Indrani in 1986 and we started living together in her parents' house. She left me in 1989 and after that she never met me," he said.

"Indrani was very ambitious, money-minded and wanted a glamorous life," media reports quoted Das as saying.

He added, "Sheena was born in 1987 and Mikhail in 1988. I last spoke to Sheena when she was in class 10."

Das lives with his family in Durganagar near Dumdum. He currently stays in a rented flat and is married to a woman named Babli Das.

Das said that when Indrani broke up with him, she said she was leaving for Shillong.

Later, Indrani got married to Kolakta businessman Sanjeev Khanna, had a daughter with him named Vidhie, then married former TV tycoon Peter Mukerjea, and moved to live a posh life with him in Mumbai.

In this time, she had reconnected with her children, daughter Sheena and son Mikhael,  but was particular about presenting them always as her younger siblings.

Even as police continue to grill Indrani in their custody, she has reportedly denied the allegation against her, claiming that Sheena is in the US .

She says Sheena is not coming forward because she hates her.

Besides Indrani, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai have been arrested in connection with the alleged murder that took place in April, 2012.

Sheena was allegedly strangled inside a car and then her body was burnt in a forest area of Raigad in Maharashtra.

Indrani  has another daughter, Vidhie, from her marriage to Sanjeev Khanna.

Sheena was having an affair with Rahul, Peter Mukherjee's son from a previous marriage which Indrani had always been strongly opposed to for reasons police are looking into.

After Sheena's  murder Indrani allegedly kept up the charade by using her daughter's  phone for a year, forging letters in her name and also sending a fake resignation letter to her office.

All three accused were produced before the court  on Monday. Indrani is also accused of trying to kill her son Mekhail Bora, Sheena's younger brother.
