SL to release Indian fishermen
Colombo, Aug 13 (IBNS): Sri Lanka on Wednesday announced it will release Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan custody.
The announcement was made on Sri Lankan Mahinda Rajapaksa's official Twitter page.
The Indian fishermen will be released on the occasion of India's Independence Day on Friday.
"On the occasion of India's Independence Day, President Rajapaksa orders the release of Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan custody," said a tweet on the President's official account.
