Sonakshi Sinha urged voters to vote for her mother Poonam Sinha in Lucknow

Mumbai,May 7 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha urged people to vote for her mother Poonam Sinha who was a candidate from Lucknow seat where Lok Sabha poll was held on Monday.

Lucknow was a part of the polling in the fifth phase of the elections.

Sonakshi tweeted: " Its Voting day in Lucknow! Was so proud to see my mom @PoonamSinha in action doing some amazing work and living out her dream...do vote for her, because the one thing she doesn’t know how to do is let people down!."

Poonam Sinha was a candidate for the Samajwadi Party.

She is fighting the polls against Union Home Minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh
