New Delhi, Feb 13 (IBNS): After reports of a series of attacks on churches, a convent school in south Delhi was allegedly vandalized by miscreants in the intervening night of Thursday-Friday.

The school in Vasant Vihar - Holy Child Auxilium- is where also Human Resource Minister Smriti Irani studied. She is visiting the school following the attack, reports said.

Delhi Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, "This kind of acts will not be tolerated."

School authorities said the window of the principal's room was smashed by the attackers.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had instructed Delhi Police to beef up security of churches and other places of worship in the wake of the recent attacks on churches across the national capital.
