Mumbai, Sept 11 (IBNS): In a major successful attempt for revamp in Indian Railways, the Spanish Talgo train completed its final trial run between Delhi and Mumbai on Sunday.

The superfast train completed the journey under 12 hours, that was set as the targeted time.

According to reports, the train left Delhi at 2:45 pm on Saturday and reached Mumbai on Sunday morning at 2:34 am.

Indian Railways wants to introduce the Talgo train in its attempt to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai by over 4 hours.

Nine super light-weight coaches manufactured by Spanish firm Talgo, which can hit 200 km per hour, were imported to Mumbai in April, said reports.
