State govt orders suspension of internet service for a month in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 26 (IBNS): The PDP- BJP led government in Jammu and Kashmir has ordered suspension of internet service in Kashmir on the directions of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for a period of one month, official said on Wednesday.
“Internet services in Kashmir shall not be permitted to be transmitted for a period of one month,” reads a Home department order issued on Wednesday.
Pertinently, internet mobile services are already suspended in Kashmir since Apr 17, when mass student protests were reported across Kashmir.
