Stone people who have sex out of marriage: Azmi

Mumbai, Apr 11 (IBNS) Samajwadi Party (SP)'s Maharashtra unit chief Abu Azmi has sparked a controversy by saying that men and women who have sex out of the wedlock should be stoned to death.

"Look at the boys and girls today. They roam around together, live together. No religion supports such crime," Azmi said.

"We need to handle this strictly. Both men and women, who have sex out of marriage, should be stoned to death. Even if the woman is forced to have sex, she will have to undergo the same punishment," he said.
