Supreme Court rejects Opposition's VVPAT review plea
New Delhi, May 7 (IBNS): In a setback for the Opposition, the Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the VVPAT review plea filed by 21 opposition leaders.
The Opposition had filed the plea to ensure counting of 50 per cent VVPAT machines in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls.
Following the verdict, Opposition's advocate and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said: "We bow down to the Supreme Court's judgement but we will carry on with the campaign."
