Sushma Swaraj meets Ghani

New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday met Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani here.

Speaking on the meeting, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "Affirming a valued friendship. EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on President @ashrafghani be4 delegation level talks."

Ghani arrived in India on Monday on a 3-day state visit to the nation.

He was received by Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha on his arrival here.

Ghani will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee during this visit.
