Sushma Swaraj undergoes kidney transplant at AIIMS

New Delhi, Dec 10 (IBNS) : External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj underwent kidney transplant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday, reports said.

On November 16, she tweeted that she was admitted to AIIMS because of kidney failure and was undergoing transplantation.

Swaraj, who is a diabetic, was admitted to the hospital on November seven with failing kidneys.

She has been on dialysis for the past few weeks.
