Telangana Assembly condemns Pulwama terror attack

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI/IBNS) :Telangana Assembly on Friday condemned the terror attack in Pulwama on February 14 in which more than 40 CRPF jawans were martyred.

Soon after the house met for the brief budget session, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who moved a resolution on the terror attack said that the state government would provide a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the slain jawans.

He said the terror attack on CRPF jawans had shattered the hearts of all the countrymen, adding, that the youth of the country should send a message that they were solidly behind the jawans.

Rao said that the country would never forget the supreme sacrifices of the jawans.

Participating in the discussion on the resolution, members cutting across the party lines condemned the terror attack in unequivocal terms.

Among those who spoke on the resolution were CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Majlis member Ahmed Bin Abdullah and BJP member Raja Singh.
