Karimnagar, Feb 28 (IBNS): A 23-year-old woman in Telangana's Karimnagar district was allegedly raped, filmed and blackmailed by three of her batchmates for almost two weeks, media reports said.
The woman aspires to become a police officer.

The three accused, G Srinivas, M Anjaiah and M Rakesh, who were also taking coaching classes to join the police force, raped and filmed the victim while she kept pleading with them to let her go.

Later, the woman was blackmailed with the video clip.

The accused then continued to assault her for over 10 days, said reports.

The woman told her parents about the incident only two days ago, following which a rape complaint was lodged.

The accused have also been charged under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and the Information Technology Act.
