Three members of family killed in Karnataka house collapse

Bagalkot, Oct 6 (UNI) Three persons from single family died on the spot at Kirasuru Village of Bagalkot district in Karnataka induring early hours on Sunday due to heavy rain.

According to sources, due to heavy rain in the district the house collapsed on people sleeping and three persons of the family died on the spot.

Deceased are identified Erappa Hadpad (61), his wife Gouravva (56) and their 33 year old son Ningappa, sources said.

Senior police officials, fire brigade forces and related officials visited to the spot and removed all three dead bodies from the debris.

MLA Veeranna Charantimath visited Kirasuru village and met the family members and directed the related officials to take all further steps like cremation and financial help.

Further he said, government would provide all necessary arrangements to the family members.
