Thunderstorm with lightning & gusty winds likely in Telangana: MeT

Hyderabad/UNI: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds, speed ranging between 30-40 km/ph is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal among others in Telangana during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in all the districts of Telangana on May 31, June 1 June 2.

Also, a thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in north coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on May 30 and May 31.

The warning goes for isolated places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Rain occurred at remote places in Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam while dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 43-degree Celsius and 41.6-degree Celsius was recorded in Nalgonda of Telangana and Tuni of Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

The maximum temperature of 36.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added.
