Srinagar, Aug 1 (IBNS) : Abu Dujana, a top terrorist of Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba, was said to have been seen in a protest rally in Kashmir on Sunday, NDTV reports quoting sources.

The protesters were seen rallying around a man, believed to be Dujana and shouting slogans.

The police, however, said they did not have confirmation of  Dujana's presence.

The rally was held in south Kashmir's Pulwama district in protest against the encounter death of Hijbul mujahideen leader Burhan Wani on July 8.

It was attended by parents of many of the terrorists who had been killed by security forces, NDTV says.

Lashkar chief Hafiz Sayeed's reportedly admitted  last week that that his men had fanned the violence in the Kashmir Valley, in which 47 people have died and more than 2,500 people have been injured.

Pakistan has lionized Wani, declaring him a martyr.

Since the death of Bhuran Wani, the valley has witnessed huge demonstrations and clashes between protesters and security forces.
