Tractor overturns in Vijaywada, 2 killed

Vijayawada/UNI: Two agriculture women workers were killed and two others were injured, when the tractor trolley in which they were going to a field to work, overturned at Jonnalagadda village near Nandigama town in Krishna district on Friday.

Police said that about 25 agricultural workers were going to fields on the ill-fated tractor trolley to work.

The tractor trolley overturned while trying to avoid collision with an auto rickshaw killing Bellamkonda Seshamma (45) and S Triveni (40).

Two others were critically injured in the accident. The condition of one of the injured persons Venkata Narasaiah is said to be very serious. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the government hospital for postmortem.
