Tunisha Sharma's co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan breaks down during interrogation: Reports
Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Sheezan Khan who has been arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma has denied allegations that he had been dating several girls while being in a relationship with the deceased actor, the police said.
On Tuesday, Waliv Police alleged that Khan keeps repeatedly changing his statements and has not yet given any clear reason why he broke up with Tunisha.
The duo was co-staring in the TV show 'Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul'.
Tunisha's body was found hanging in the washroom on the set of the television serial on Dec 24.
The deceased actor's mother has claimed that Sheezan was cheating on Tunisha.
On the basis of the statement of Tunisha's mother, an FIR was lodged and the actor was arrested the following day.
Sheezan has been in police custody for the last two days and is being continuously interrogated.
According to the police, Sheezan broke down during interrogation in front of the female officer.
When the lady police officer reached to interrogate the accused, he started crying.
For two consecutive days, he kept on narrating different reasons for breaking up with Tunisha but when a woman officer questioned him, he started crying, the police told the media.
According to the woman officer, the actor did not open up and it was difficult for them to guess his emotions by looking at his body language till Monday, but last night he started crying during interrogation.
On Dec 24, Tunisha had locked herself up in the makeup room of Sheezan, while he was away for his shot.
After returning, when he couldn’t open the door and Tunisha did not respond despite repeated calls, the door was broken.
The shooting crew of the show- Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul took her to a hospital at around 1:30 am, where she was declared dead.
Sheezan, who was in a relationship with Tunisha but broke up 15 days prior to the incident, was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide of the actor.
