Vizianagaram (Andhra Pradesh): A dental college bus collided with a stationary truck in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district, leaving two dead and eight injured, media reports said.

Rescue operations are underway as passengers remain trapped, according to an India Today report.

At least two individuals lost their lives, and eight sustained serious injuries on Saturday after a dental college bus collided with a stationary truck in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with several passengers feared trapped inside the vehicle.

The bus, belonging to the Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Science, rammed into the parked truck on a national highway, causing significant damage.

Emergency services, including five ambulances, have been dispatched to the scene to provide rescue and medical assistance.

Authorities are continuing efforts to secure the area and assist the injured. Additional details are awaited as the situation develops.
