Two dies in road accident in Palamu

Daltonganj, Aug 7 (UNI) Couple of men lost their lives in two separate accidents which took place under different police station areas of the Palamu district on the NH-98.

In the first incident which today took place at Khowakoh village, Muneshwar Bhuyiaan (60) was run over by speeding truck due to which he died on the spot. Miffed over the incident, the locals blocked traffic movement on the NH-98 for three hours.

The agitation was called off after intervention of the local administration. Police also managed to arrest the truck driver and seized the vehicle.

On the other hand in a separate incident, under Nawabazzar Polce Station area a biker Braj Kishore Mehta who use to work as a mason was run over by an unidentified speeding vehicle.
