Two militants, two soldiers killed in gun battle over infiltration bid in Kashmir border
Srinagar, July 30 (IBNS) : Two militants and as many soldiers were killed in an encounter as the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid from across the border in nougam sector of northern kupwara district on Friday night, reports said.
One soldier was also injured in the exchange of fire.
Reports further said that arms ammunition were recovered from the encounter site.
The operation was on when last reports came.
