Two terrorists killed in overnight gunbattle with security forces in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 11 (IBNS) Two terrorists have been gunned down in a fierce battle with security forces during an overnight operation in Pulwama district of Kashmir, reports said.

One policeman has also been injured in the exchange of fire.

The bodies of the terrorists were recovered from a  paddy field on Tuesday morning. Their identity is yet to be known.

The gunbattle took place after a joint search operation by the Army and police was launched in Ratnipora area on Monday evening following inputs about the movement of terrorists.

The search operation is still on.
