Union Cabinet expansion to take place tomorrow

New Delhi, July 4 (IBNS): The expansion of the Union Cabinet will take place on Tuesday, officials said.

Principal Spokesperson, Government of India & Director General of Press Information Bureau Frank Noronha tweeted: "Cabinet expansion tomorrow at 11 a.m."

Talks for the Cabinet expansion have been going on for months.

A vacancy is there in the Council of Ministers following the resignation of former Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. He took oath as the Chief Minister of Assam after BJP scripted a victory in the state's Assembly polls.
