Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address rally in HP on completion of 2 years of Jai Ram Thakur govt
Shimla/UNI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah would address a rally on the completion of two years of Jai Ram Thakur Government, in which 25000 party workers were likely to arrive at the historic Ridge Ground, here on December 27.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, BJP state President Satpal Singh Sati said the party would organise a rally to showcase the two-year report card of Jai Ram Government.
'Instead of calling for celebration, the party has decided to mark the event by displaying its two-year report card to the public in a rally, to be addressed by Union Minister Amit Shah, BJP Working President JP Nadda, former Chief Minister PK Dhumal and Union Minister for State Anurag Thakur, among other top party leaders,' Sati said.
The rally would begin at 1200 hrs and was likely to end by 1330 hrs, Sati said, adding that 25000 party workers and local people were likely to attend the rally and all arrangement has been made.
Highlighting two years of Jai Ram government, Satti said after resuming power on December 27, 2017, the Chief Minister developed a new political culture in the hill state.
Sati said that hakur, after taking oath of CMO and completion of two years in power, has shown that he has a clean and honest image in the state.
The congenial atmosphere was developed to attract new investors, as Chief Minister played major role by organising a Global investor meet at Dharmshala on November 7 and 8 this year, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and comprising 250 delegates from 31 countries.
